The Hosanna Performing Arts Foundation, in cooperation with the Hosanna Dance Studio has presented, now for five years, a holiday ballet based on C.S. Lewis' classic story, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Adventures in Narnia is a delightful blend of drama and several forms of dance. While the performance includes dancers of all ages and skill levels, the quality of the production is sure to surprise and captivate you! 

Narnia 2010 Audition Schedule -

Tuesday, September 7

Levels Auditioning: Beginning/Intermediate (must be 6 years by 9.1.10)

Audition Process Times: 4-7 p.m.

Hosanna Dance Studio,

(Beginning DEFINED AS Ages 6-9 with at least one year of dance training).

(Intermediate defined as entering Hosanna levels 1& 2; 10 and up with at least 2 years of dance training.)

Parent must be on site; at least one parent must be in attendance at parent dancer meeting in studio B. Dancers retire to Studio A to begin audition process.

Dancers should come dressed in simple leotard, tights and ballet slippers, hair secured.

Wednesday, September 8

Levels Auditioning: Advanced/Solo

Audition Process Times: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

(Advanced defined as entering Hosanna levels 3 & 4; 12 and up with at least 4 years of dance training.)

At least one parent must be in attendance at parent/dancer meeting (unless attended on Tuesday, September 7) in studio B. Dancers retire to Studio A to begin audition process.

Thursday, September 9

Call Backs by Invitation

Callback Process Times: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Dancers should come dressed in simple leotard, tights and ballet slippers, hair secured.

On-line registration

Practices are held at Hosanna Dance Studio and Friday evenings and Saturdays from September through the pre-production week in December. The week preceding performances, dancers should keep all weekdays open for 4:00 p.m, call to 10:00 p.m.for technical and dress rehearsals, held at Lane Community College (with the exception of Wednesday).

Participation fee: $40 / dancer

(used to pay for dance instruction and studio usage).

Checks made payable to Hosanna Performing Arts Foundation
